We aimed to create a simple, fast and free way of valuing and tracking your Pokemon cards that anyone can use regardless of their level of Pokemon knowledge! Whether you’ve been collecting for years or you’ve just found an old collection in the attic and want to know their value, this is the place for you!
To make the most out of this site, you should create a free account and start adding cards to your Collection. From your Dashboard page, you can view your Collection’s automatically updated Total Value, Total Cards and edit the Condition and Quantity of cards in your Collection!
If your goal’s to complete sets, you can do this from the Set page with 3 different levels of completion:
1) Basic: One of each standard card. Excludes holo variations and promos.
2) Master: One of each standard card and every holo variation. Excludes promos.
3) Expert: Every known card in the set, including all holo variations and promos!
How do we get our card value estimates?
Our unique search algorithm produces an estimated value for each card based on the prices of cards that have been sold on eBay UK in the last 90 days. We only use prices of cards that did actually sell in our calculations and each card is updated roughly every 10 days!
We individually search for NM/M, PSA 8, PSA 9 and PSA10 conditions for every single card in our database. All other values for each condition of every card worked out in relation to the NM/M value.
We exclude the cost of shipping, so you just get the value for the card alone. We do this using the following guideline:
-If shipping is less than 90p, we record the price + shipping - 90p. This is because the seller has worked some or all of the shipping cost into the price, so must be taken off.
-If shipping is 91p or more, we record just the price of the card.
*Note: 90p is our current estimate for shipping which roughly includes the cost of a stamp, bubble envelope, toploader and sleeve (how all cards should be sent!).
How do we get our Basic, Master and Expert completion set values?
We get total estimates for Basic, Master and Expert completion ranges by summing all the NM/M values of cards in that range, dividing by the number of cards (to get the average value per card) and then multiplying by the amount of cards in that completion level. For cards that have no price data yet, we assume these have an average value of £0.50.
Again, these are design to be quick estimates and be used as a guide ONLY! Missing price data from big cards that are worth much more than £0.50 will upset the average or having a Basic completion with mostly reverse holos will be worth more than the same Basic completion with mostly non-holos.
The most accurate way to value your specific collection is to register for a free account, add your specific cards to your Collection, head over to your Dashboard page, go to your Collection table at the bottom of the page and filter to see just cards from that set!
